Charles thrives in producing content and is skilled in multimedia project development, copywriting, project management and creative direction.
At Builden, Charles writes content including attorney bios, practice group content, awards and social media and web content. He has a keen eye for editing and is committed to ensuring all publications meet the highest editorial standard. He also assists clients with market research and competitive intelligence plans to drive strategic thinking and help AmLaw firms stay prepared.
Prior to joining Builden, Charles served in-house at a diverse array of companies, where he developed multimedia ad campaigns, interpreted analytics and launched company-wide content projects.
Before joining the corporate world, Charles was a sought-after professional saxophonist, performing with Grammy-award winning artists throughout the nation.
Charles earned a master’s degree in Jazz Studies with distinction from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in Saxophone Performance and Music Business from Belmont University.
Charles lives in the Chicago area and performs regularly with his jazz trio.
